New Jot Your Thought Petite Journals
Erin Condren has had Jot Your Thought journals before, but these beauties are a new design! Each journal is 5.7 x 8.25 and contains 80 lined pages. They will be available in Metallic Rose Gold Multi Watercolor, Metallic Gold Neutral MidCentury Circles, and Metallic Platinum Multi MidCentury Circles. The spine is sewn and they lay flat really well when opened. The pages are simple and lined for note-taking during meetings or PD sessions (or, let’s be real –Â those never ending teacher to-do lists!). They really are a great size for a purse or tote and the added metallic details add a sophistication to your notebook. (My favorite – the multi-colored MidCentury Circles!)
New Highlighters
Erin Condren is branching out from just carrying pens to now offering highlighters! You can most certainly get highlighters at any office supply store but these new Erin Condren ones are fabulous! Why? Well, it’s probably because I am obsessed with the multi-colored MidCentury circle design! But in all honesty, they are great highlighters. I LOVE when a yellow highlighter is just BAM! Electric yellow in your face! Do you NEED fancy schmancy highlighters? Probably not… BUT… they are awesome and your students will envy you while they use their generic brand highlighters.
New Designer Eraser Set
Eraser set – need I say more? Yes! They are adorable little erasers. If you like to get all matchy-matchy, get these! We all make mistakes. We all need erasers.
New Pocket Folders
Teachers have a lot of papers to keep up with. Whether it’s papers to grade, paperwork to fill out, or just collecting all the lovely notes your students give you – a folder can certainly come in handy! The set of two folders are 11.6 x 9.5. They feature two scalloped pockets inside and beautiful foiled motivational messages on watercolor backgrounds.
New Lunch Totes
Ohhhhhh! I was so excited to see a lunch tote when I opened my box today! When I reviewed the Teacher Lesson Planner for this year, I had tons of fun trying to stuff a bunch of things into the carry-all clutch. I decided to do the same thing for this lunch tote! I always took my lunch to school with me (as did most teachers in my building) which meant 20+ people trying to all stick their lunchboxes into ONE refrigerator! My last lunch box was pretty big honestly. When I first saw the size of this lunch tote I wondered what I could fit in. Stay tuned to find out! 😉 The lunch tote says it measures 10.25 x 10 inches. It is made out of neoprene (like the carry-all clutches are). Here’s a picture of it standing (with a big glass bowl inside).
The lunch tote has a big Velcro piece inside and a zipper that runs the length of the top of the tote. The totes are stain resistant (you can hand wash in cold and air dry). They expand to hold…a lot!
Okay, so I decided to pack a pretend lunch/snack. When I taught first grade, we had the first lunch of the day – at 10:30 a.m……it was a long time until I left school (usually around 4:30). Teachers get hungry! So that’s why I packed a lunch/snacks so I could survive until 5:30 or so. Here’s what I fit inside:
Inside: bottle of water, can of ginger ale, apple juice box, large container (for sandwich or salad), bag of pretzel chips, peanut butter crackers, plastic container with utensils, sweet potato chips, a granola bar, and a cheese stick. I did not have to force the zipper closed. I didn’t really fasten the Velcro, but it was all held inside securely.
The lunch totes are going to come in a whole bunch of different designs! The one shown here is the Blossom print (you can choose a different background color). I MUST HAVE one in the colorful Mid Century Circles!
TakeNote Notebook
I was also sent a TakeNote Notebook. I LOVE the TakeNote Notebooks! You can use the interchangeable covers from your LifePlanner on them. There are tons of cover options! This summer “Dive” one is so perfect for teacher planning over the summer! You know – all those things you want to do or make for your classroom! The Take Note Notebooks come in two sizes (the smaller, Life Planner size or the larger, Teacher Planner size). The inside cover is a wet erase surface like the Teacher Planner and Life Planner. You can also choose lined pages or dot grid pages. Pages are perforated for easy removal. Also includes one sheet of stickers in the back.
Compliment Cards
I also received the newest compliment cards. These little cards are very cute for a quick note to someone to recognize them. I mentioned in a past review, but these would be so awesome for principals to leave little notes for teachers after observations or walk-throughs. They would also be cute if your school does a secret pal type deal where you could write little notes to your secret pal.
Designer Sticker Book
The Cool for School sticker book is still available! I previously reviewed it here.
Carry-All Clutches
I review the carry-all clutches here if you are interested!
Mini Sticky Storage Pockets
This set of three sticky storage pockets can be used inside a TakeNote Notebook, Life Planner, or Teacher Lesson Planner. Basically, they allow you to create a pocket where you may not have on (but want one!). They are lovely and foiled!

Thank you so much to Samantha from Erin Condren for sending me these awesome goodies to review!
Can you tell me if you think the lunch tote will work with ice packs? I am having a terrible time finding out from EC and I’m hoping you can help.
Well, depending on what you put in there they should fit inside. Are you asking if they will keep your food cold with the ice packs? If you use enough I would say so. I’ve used many lunch boxes over the years that weren’t very insulated with ice packs.
