Christmas Themed Math Games!
Back at Halloween I created a big set of Halloween themed math games for my students. They LOVED them! I quickly decided I’d have to make similar games for all of the major holidays. 😀 The Christmas set is ready and available now on Teachers Pay Teachers and Teachers Notebook.
Add some fun holiday themes to your math stations/centers! This bundle of math games and activities provides practice for many math topics! There are 33 different games in all (about 33 cents a game!)! The games can be stored in a plastic bag, box, file folder, or envelope. You could also play these with your whole class in a pocket chart. All games are included in both full color and in grayscale that you could print on colored paper. Print (cardstock makes it more durable) and laminate!
There are 20 different card games, all with a different theme. You may have the students match the cards like a concentration game, play “Go fish” with them, or only cut apart half of the cards so students can lay the cards on top of their matches. These games follow the same format so you only have to teach the rules once and students can play any of the games following the same rules.
Included in this bundle are the following card/matching games:
* Adding with 0
* Adding with 1
* Adding with 2
* Adding with doubles (up to 21)
* Adding doubles +1

There are 10 different Roll and Cover games. Students roll a dice and then add on however many the game mat tells them to. For example, if playing the “+4” game students would roll a dice and then add 4 to the number they get. Students place a marker (bingo chip, token, etc.) on top of the sum they get. Play continues until all numbers are covered.
Included in this bundle are the following roll and cover games:
* Adding +1
* Adding +2
* Adding +3
* Adding +4
* Adding +5
* Adding +6
* Adding +7
* Adding +8
* Adding +9
* Adding +10
There are different 3 different Bump games. To play Bump, each pair of students will need two dice for Bump game 1, three dice for Bump game 2, and four dice for Bump game 3. You will also need two different colored markers/tokens such as counters, bingo chips, etc.
How to Play: Roll the two (three, or four) dice and find the sum. Cover a square that has that sum with your marker. If your partner is on a square with that sum you can “bump” them off and take their space! If you roll a sum you already covered, add another one of your markers to the space to “lock” it so your partner can’t bump you off! If you roll a sum that no longer has an open space, your turn is over. Play continue s until all spaces have been covered. The player who uses all of their markers first wins!
Included in this bundle are the following Bump games:
* Adding with 2 dice
* Adding with 3 dice
* Adding with 4 dice
You can pick up all of these great games in my Teachers Pay Teachers or Teachers Notebook store! 🙂
