Apple Orchard Math Picture Pages
Happy September! Some of you are just beginning the back to school season while others have been in school for a few weeks (maybe even longer!).
September marks the beginning of my favorite season – fall! There are so many fun seasonal and holiday themes that come with this time of year. It’s also a busy time of the year!
This month’s treasure is perfect for when you need a quick and engaging little something for math. Maybe you have a field trip schedule during the morning but want to keep your kiddos focused during the afternoon. Maybe you need to miss school one day (I hope you’re not too sick!) and need something quick and easy for the substitute but will still be beneficial for your students. Maybe you’ve visited an apple orchard recently. Whatever is going on, this is a fun activity to incorporate into your math time this fall.
Students will color a math picture following the color code at the bottom. They then use that math picture to complete any of the math pages given to them. They will need to correctly count the number of each item they colored to fill in the math problems.
There are nine math picture pages in all:
- graphing
- graphing with questions about data collected
- addition
- addition with greater sums
- adding with three addends
- subtraction
- multiplication
- ordering numbers
- comparing numbers
If you love these math picture pages, I have more available in my store with others coming throughout the year! Currently available are Back to School Math Picture Pages, Camping Math Picture Pages, and Earth Day Math Picture Pages.
